Los Sugar Kings

Los Sugar Kings is a Boston-based quartet known for their dynamic live performances, rich harmonies, intense musicianship and ability to transcend genres with an authenticity rarely heard.

In their world, respect is paid to the forefathers and traditions of Afro-Cuban Son, Salsa and Rumba-Flamenca but Los Sugar Kings (named after a Cuban baseball team) also actively draw on influences from nearly every continent in their unique roots-rock-reggae fusion repertoire. All are highly accomplished on their instruments, however the true magic of Los Sugar Kings is how these four individuals come together to put on a performance worthy of any festival, party, club or concert hall. Every show is an intimate dialogue between the band and their audience, with both sides communicating in a manner that is spontaneous, passionate, thoughtful and joyous.

LSK’s members are Patino Vazquez (vocals, guitar, tres), Mikael Mersha (vocals, bass/contrabass), Daniel Abreu (saxophone, piano, vocals) and Benson (drums, percussion, vocals).

Dandrew

In the summer of 2009, Danny Tucker and Andrew Buonfiglio decided they should stop ignoring each other, and start playing other peoples hit songs for a mostly intoxicated audience. The people slurred, yelled, and drank more than ever before. Needless to say, the people liked what they saw. Since they couldn't come up with a simple name by themselves, DANDREW was suggested forcefully from a rowdy Dodge Street patron, and DANDREW was born. They eventually decided to recruit former classmates and longtime friends, John LeClerc and Mike Ryan, to play bass and drums, respectively. With a catalog of songs ranging from 50's Motown, to 90's Hip Hop, to today’s hits, there's something in there for almost everyone.
